A message to my clients
As a parent, former teacher and therapist, I believe that people generally know the answers to the questions they bring to therapy. I find that most only need guidance towards the right path to discover those answers using their values, their goals and their innate strengths.
It is difficult to take an introspective look at ourselves; to acknowledge the ways in which we communicate or interact with those around us that either promote or inhibit our abilities to function in healthy and satisfying ways.
I believe firstly in building a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust, honesty and respect. I believe secondly in providing education and validation about how and why we experience emotions and how they create patterns of behavior. Finally, I believe in everyone’s ability to make choices and create change in order to promote growth, understanding and success.
At times everyone needs a guiding hand, in becoming their best self. I look forward to being that guiding hand for you.
