Signs/ Symptoms:

• Frequent or repetitive work, school, home or health problems due to use
• Use despite physical safety risks
• Legal interaction due to use with police, courts, jail
• Repeated use despite impact on personal relationships
• Craving for the substance
• Inability to stop or limit use on your own
• Taking more of the substance for the same effect (Tolerance)
• Withdrawal when substance use is stopped
• Spending significant time to acquire substance or recover from their effects
• Giving up activities for substance use, or to recover from use
