 A message to my clients

Oftentimes, people make the difficult decision to see a therapist when they feel they have come to an impasse that they can’t ‘fix’. They may feel as though they have worn out their friends and family talking about their issues, or they don’t feel they can talk to anyone and have bottled everything up inside, leading to no workable solution.

For this reason, ‘therapy’ is quite often seen as a last resort where you finally decide to find someone to give you the magic words of wisdom that will ‘fix’ everything.

I have no magic words.  I can tell you that what we will do together is a journey of personal growth, change and healing.  It is about challenging old beliefs that may have kept you stuck, or made you afraid to step out and try something different, something new.

For over 30 years, my counseling approach has been interactive, non-judgmental and compassionate.  I listen to the hopes and dreams that you bring into each session. Concerns are addressed, goals are established and then the work begins.

The greatest reward is witnessing the transformation in a person’s life, watching clients become former clients, as they leave with a sense of confidence and respect in themselves and their newfound abilities to create the changes they previously thought impossible.
